Hey Greg

+1. I think the forums are a great place to make friends, share ideas and resources and learn about photography. Naturescapes.net has consistently been, for me, a great place to improve my understanding of this thing called photography.

Cheers

Thanks for the comments!

Chuck, that's a great reminder about getting involved with the local photographic community as well! The critiques, tips and camaraderie that can come out of them are invaluable.

Justin, I couldn't agree more. Its been a pleasure to interact with you on NSN, and to view your fantastic work. Glad you could make it! :)

Great article Greg. I love the example provided. It's such a great feeling when constructive criticism leads you to reach the full potential of an image. My last post just went through a similar scenario on NSN and I'm thrilled with the result. Thanks again for turning me onto NSN, I'm loving it!

Well said, or written, that's why one should sit on their so-so images for awhile, sometimes they look better as time goes by, remember we usually are our own worse critics.
Along with getting involved in online forums, it's also a great learning experience by belonging to a local camera club that is active in competition.
