		<description>Should be a great trip. I&#039;ve been over pretty much all of this - some sections many times. 

If you are up for getting very close to the Minarets and seeing some really alpine country, since you are going to Minaret Lake you _could_ take the route from there to Ediza Lake as an alternative on the first part. There is a bit of semi-cross-country, but nothing too scary. Ediza is a wonderful place. 

Last time I was through here we camped perhaps a mile or so below Donohue Pass before crossing it from the east. This is also beautiful, high country, and puts you in a good position to cross the pass early.
