Katie Lee asks, “Is it possible to love a place more than a person?”  Landscapes, even parts of landscapes, are a major part of our psyche, and sandstone, especially Navajo sandstone, has gotten inside of me.  In some ways, it seems like we shouldn’t be allowed to see such shapes, or colors, and in describing these characteristics, the word ‘sensual’ slips very easily off the tongue.  This portfolio displays that sensuality, that sandstone seduction.
